For as long as you stay, the house, the pool and the gardens belong to you and the people you came with. Four bedrooms, room for eight.
Stone, timber and tall windows
Walls of green Sljeme stone, timber beams overhead and tall windows onto the garden. In winter the fireplace becomes the centre of the house; in summer the garden stretches right up to the door.
The table is long enough for everyone, and the sofa deep enough to lose an afternoon in.
Four bedrooms, four quiet mornings
The master bedroom is on the first floor and has its own bathroom. Three more bedrooms are on the second floor, under the roof, and share a bathroom.
Arched windows, wooden floors and soft white linen: rooms made for the sweetest dreams.
Warm water under stained glass
A hydromassage tub beneath stained-glass windows and a wall of green stone, made for treating yourself after a long day.
For anyone who likes to keep moving, there is also a private gym in the house.
A uniquely shaped pool, inspired by the pebble beaches of Croatia
Its curves follow the line of a Croatian pebble beach, and you walk into the water just as you would into the sea, over a gentle sloping entry.
Around it, lawns stretch towards the forest, and each terrace reveals a different part of the garden.
Fire, stone and fresh bread
At the heart of the outdoor kitchen is a wood-fired bread oven set in stone. Light it in the afternoon and let the stone hold the heat: by evening it is ready for bread with a crackling crust, a slow-cooked peka or a tray of something sweet. Beside it, under a curved stone roof, are a rotisserie and wood-fired and gas grills.
If you would rather simply enjoy yourselves at the table, we can arrange a private chef or catering, and fill the fridge before you arrive.
