Places worth the drive
- Kumrovec
- A traditional Zagorje village preserved as an open-air museum, with old houses, crafts and workshops.
- Veliki Tabor
- A fortified castle on a hilltop, one of the best preserved in Croatia, with views over the Zagorje hills.
- Trakošćan
- One of the most beautiful castles in Croatia, above a lake and surrounded by a park and forest paths. Visit it, then come back and tell us which you prefer.
- Thermal springs
- Zagorje is known for its thermal spas, such as Terme Tuhelj and Stubičke Toplice, and Terme Čatež is just across the border in Slovenia.
- Marija Bistrica
- The best-known pilgrimage church in Croatia, in a small town in the hills, 40 minutes from the estate.
- Zagreb
- The capital, with its Upper Town, markets, museums and restaurants, is 40 minutes from the estate.

Many of our guests barely leave the estate, and rightly so: there is the pool, a garden to walk and play in, or simply the sound of the forest. The possibilities are endless.
